Managing a substantial 24/7 shared user and network operation is not for the faint hearted. Add to this, a discerning international customer base, stringent operational standards and a commitment to further growth, it follows that this is no ordinary SGM role, but one where the appointee can make a significant difference to the overall operational efficiency and to grow with a substantial mixed fleet operating on a 24/7 basis.
Reporting to a Regional Director and with daily customer and colleague interface, you will coordinate, plan and deliver outstanding service levels to cost, budget and customer deadlines. You will ensure that considerable KPIs are met and that SLAs are adhered to, whilst looking at ways to develop the operation. Inspirational leadership and team building skills are prerequisite as is your ability to act with a commercial and business development accountability. Above all you will provide the credibility, integrity, drive and passion to ‘make a difference’.
Certainly of graduate calibre and with a current CPC, you will have held previous O’ licence responsibility for a mixed fleet operating on a national and European basis. You will posses proven skills in managing a large network fleet operating on a 24/7 basis. A champion of continuous improvement, you will drive initiatives across the site and the region implementing best practice. Strong ER and IR skills will be especially sought as will your belief in people development. In summary, a true senior distribution professional who wants to move forward in both operational and career terms.
