The Client is a major European provider of dedicated warehousing and transport solutions across a broad spectrum of food and non-food sectors. With strong customer credibility and an innovative approach to value added supply chain initiatives and a commitment to organic and acquisitive growth, the Client perceives early regional development as key to its overall plans.

Reporting to a Divisional Managing Director and with frequent links to operational and functional colleagues, this is a customer facing, commercially driven role. With full P&L responsibility and a substantial network in ambient warehousing and transport, the principal remit will be for control and growth, whilst maintaining strict adherence to customer SLAs and overall KPIs across the division. You will provide inspirational leadership and team building skills in this disparate region. In addition to operational responsibilities, you will have a strong interface with customers and have an additional development accountability.

Certainly of graduate calibre and with proven senior level experience in transport and warehousing, your suite of skills will also include a CPC qualification and you will have previous O’ licence responsibility. You will be thoroughly familiar with all established WMS and transport packages and have a natural commercial bias. Previous experience in business development will be especially sought, as will your ability to show progression in an organisation credited with well developed training and personal development programmes.
