Our Client is a well funded, profitable and diverse business services group, whose growth is only limited by the acquisition of good people with future potential. The Company has bought the exclusive rights to a sophisticated range of industrial catering equipment with proven, tested and approved hygiene and environmentally advanced systems. A new facility will shortly be open for both manufacturing and sub-assembly.
The need is for a proven energetic and entrepreneurial manager who can lead the start up and growth of the business. The person will have full responsibility for demand planning, inventory, procurement, materials flow, S and OP, systems and sales distribution liaison, to ensure for order flow and delivery to deadlines. The job holder will have full P&L responsibility and be the centre of excellence in relation to manufacturing standards, quality and continuous improvement.
As can be adjudged, this is an highly unusual hybrid role demanding supply chain experience and commercial acumen. Your current background will have encompassed supply chain in a fast moving manufacturing environment with proven skills in a recognised quality standard. You will be numerate, literate with good IT skills and be flexible enough to undertake a wide variety of tasks. Experience of dealing with sales and distributors is essential as is your commitment to a potential long term career with this expanding business. Certainly of graduate calibre, you will possess overt credibility, resilience, tenacity, integrity and presence at all levels.
