Our Client, an international freight forwarding and logistics provider, is showing rapid and sustained growth in challenging times. This will be achieved by the early appointment of credible enthusiastic and ambitious leaders – all of whom share a passion for service and people development.
Working closely with the Regional Director and with operational and functional colleagues, the main thrust of the role will be the management and development of Country Sales teams whist maintaining their own demanding sales targets. The role encompasses customer relations, key account management and new business acquisition. You will lead motivate and provide inspirational leadership to subordinate sales persons whilst ensuring that service levels, product offerings and quality are maintained within budget and to acceptable contribution.
Certainly of graduate calibre and ideally with a related professional qualification, the job holders will possess an in-depth knowledge of freight across all modes. In-country experience will be especially sought, but candidates must be able to make an early impact in culturally diverse environments. A record of sustained sales success is essential as is proven experience in leading and developing teams. An inspirational leadership style is mandatory as is the ability to build personal career development.
