Our Client is a substantial 3PL in the retail and associated sectors. With an excellent reputation for customer service, new product development and high standards, the Company is experiencing rapid growth in an highly competitive market.
Working closely with the General Manager and with a substantial subordinate structure, the transport manager will have full P&L responsibility for the management and development of a large fleet of rigids and tractors with commensurate levels of trailers. He/she will ensure service levels are maintained and have full overall responsibility for all routing, scheduling, safety, compliance and employee relation matters. The job holder may have O’ licence responsibility.
Certainly a proven transport professional, you will possess a CPC and have a demonstrable track record of shared user, in a major 3PL. You will be an inspirational leader with proven team building skills. In interpersonal terms, you will be analytical, numerate, literate, a clear communicator with a passion for continuous improvement.
