Our Client is a multi-million pound specialist provider of innovative, yet proven and pragmatic solutions to the freight sector, across air land and sea. With strong growth planned and with a passion to be the market leader, this new position will spearhead sales and new product development.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have a full and unencumbered remit to sell the software products to all freight modes. You will propose sales plans, budgets, presentations and POS material, but above all you will be a first class sales professional used to selling and presenting at Board level. You will liaise with operational and technical colleagues to service implementation of systems to the requisite level of competence and you will keep a watching brief over existing accounts.
This is not a role for an IT ‘techie/geek’, but for a sales manager who has software knowledge and considerable experience of contracts in the freight sector – both domestically and internally. Of graduate calibre and with strong numeracy and literacy skills, you will have a demonstrable record of success in a very similar role and possess the credibility, integrity and presence to make an early impact in this growing business.
